Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

& I! i$ N$ l4 S# h0 m' X! IEDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

0 S9 l! D) v, r3 R0 m- dRoughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.
