$ }# u' M7 c2 m) M" U7 mDetermine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
6 A* B# J7 {" X4 G8 E# MAssemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions & g5 U2 X* X0 X) x+ R& D3 n
Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances 6 \2 z3 {& f. }3 l7 M
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods 6 p+ q8 c' n# h- S
Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas " c t# E- S7 O
Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
; t% i c% b" O1 h/ ?, YMay operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.0 ^6 m& c' O% {& x
