Job Duties / Responsibilities

distributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner. ; b0 X1 B$ \" }9 n( _
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right0 S2 q5 S& m# I( H& @9 Y
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.

* G, T h7 S3 ^- I• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse., [: Y. }9 c- J% H
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.

• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G. 9 X- Q$ w7 S5 d; B: b
• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users. . ^+ T" Y, N/ b% {9 L `/ ^
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
3 x$ o4 J, f( _) i: f: i* J• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
6 w. r+ @% m O8 C. I T" Y• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.& g2 F N! F7 k' s9 B& \
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
' H" n0 U8 C! A8 S: i# A, p/ X• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
8 ?- I. k6 s. U$ o% K' x9 i- _: Q• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
6 \) U- ~9 S& `3 ~• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.% A6 ^: i2 a6 G& \+ q' P
• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.2 b/ s, Z" K2 v, K3 i3 z- v
• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.) }4 q& t2 _0 \- v5 s, q
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.3 P% F, p: z: E) R1 ?8 Z: H8 `
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for* V, t% H9 r% b6 j/ m! i. z

• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
+ H3 s3 w2 ?6 O6 p3 K: f• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
1 J# p# S# ?4 g# d. a7 ^• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
5 h0 l9 o; v9 s. Q; U8 ~• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
' {) h/ z* Y: z3 U5 N• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products., V) O8 c: E5 u, E W
• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner * N, \/ N7 f! g: e. Q
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups). 4 i0 S* c4 _7 K3 C; K3 X, e2 H2 C5 w
• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.

- ~* `# @ l/ J• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
* d7 \; E8 n" @• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned. ) ~7 E' F8 `: s% R R! |( F
• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
& V# {+ \/ C/ L n) k6 N' i# y• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.

9 `5 t* l9 ^& j) o Q5 C1 fEducation / Experience
. [5 j7 H9 `2 v( P• Grade 12 / GED. , T+ l& k, I4 I4 K& h. c: R- M8 e
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
/ d+ a; v/ L4 q( L% C& V2 E5 Y• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written. * i: _% u& [7 v8 Y9 Z4 ^, x
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
0 q. i5 k1 K, _• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
, q( M! a( v9 D• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
! x1 @2 K, J9 r• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry. |
