Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.+ x3 }" l4 b2 ]& z# d* p
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.4 r7 k6 p5 p, G N; [/ T" M0 \

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
. R2 L* B y3 i# K$ M3 nGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
. u! C( L9 t. h3 Z; R5 Y D+ EThe ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
