Integrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential
/ F$ ^8 D7 n+ Q( f; j4 Nskills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded' d* ~# i- {/ ~2 ?/ L$ R
program combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work) j% J8 f" j8 P4 G
experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as8 S& l r( q: }4 Y. Q
warehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food
* W/ c. E+ o! B% i, K+ U& rservices and others.' O o7 v$ Z5 W7 f+ \

Candidate Profile:

Candidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian0 q* I* z5 j, S% |& [& s9 U
citizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:* c* T8 u. z: A
* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB
1 C& s! x5 Z6 Z3 y3 a! D* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-
