The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. • Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors9 ~! r, `3 n# @( W% ]
• Answer multi line telephone system
, `& u8 i- O( S• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
/ m/ v+ W$ |! ^* f' z• Arrange courier services for all departments* k5 A8 t6 [+ y8 R9 a2 N$ T
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

+ y) A$ V, O! C* k+ i" q• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail( E; F" H7 l+ M% P3 j
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries, ^' y+ C. @9 c' w2 U
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency & l6 k1 V$ Z* r; S" D- t3 n' K. {# L
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training8 I" x* E* T) {
• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations9 ^ T* F( N7 t9 P x
• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required5 C: i3 T" @& I
+ i5 j5 E$ L3 `

& J3 e* T% b; D/ q; W" H% q3 Q$ ?# W! n5 k9 X" `& j
• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures% r! [ u+ M3 r+ o `
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* L- S! A, p; O O5 o3 _• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset3 ^; e7 m3 ?" J: R
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
