A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors: u2 u4 i, Q0 e( ^& v
• Answer multi line telephone system
# y9 S2 X/ y* q$ Z3 \• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
2 L( v& `9 H5 [2 g" l• Arrange courier services for all departments
0 n6 e: U1 _9 p• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

1 h9 Y4 G! i( t2 u8 l3 q4 U• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

/ O% P2 N/ a2 i! _, X# J# P• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency

• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments ( K1 u. l$ _: f' v9 C+ M6 F
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures8 B y3 {9 y, h1 N) ?& T
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
" i& G- ?/ r" o* w• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
' x, K8 _: y+ c• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
