A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.! |' ^+ x% f+ h& ~2 N3 D

Reception
1 x- p* M) k o5 N1 N• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors6 J# l ]- [ `
• Answer multi line telephone system
( }7 v r9 N5 e" u$ W• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries7 R% H6 F& e. D6 S/ r
• Arrange courier services for all departments5 {% u: H1 W1 d" `# G6 O- Z) L/ K
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

Administration
0 ?4 D) P& b" r2 h9 t• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
3 D# p/ F u+ |# Q1 w0 l' h• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries f- {4 _$ N5 w% ~" G$ C
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
8 O& x* ~* Q% v# R7 O• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration4 p' q3 I' ]; H1 D8 Y3 [' O' f5 V
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments # ?9 u; Y& I# U% W6 `

Registrar

• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations# O! ]. ]* y! ^$ ? {. f( b7 k+ T
• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required: N! t5 J$ b; i

Qualifications:7 W, Q; e4 L$ w, j
5 o4 g' b" o: {9 j S+ @2 _
• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
6 N" m8 M# M1 I! {• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
5 e1 ~6 T+ v) f. ^• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
: K( H& y% c! q# B- R• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
