(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school)

% z2 r# h1 X' V& a" iActivity Planning and Daily Activity# P( V6 B" H3 i1 c
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
' l g* L5 s8 |8 \! m• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. : g) A& q/ A5 V8 F
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
9 J+ \. v' K! K% ^5 K0 Q7 a% S• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
& z8 ~: k. a' Z9 b9 H3 }' p• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time. z: h5 U& Z* s2 m, \* u
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

% [! G, u+ b& cThe successful candidate will have:
" h2 `! n. E! Z' J; d: L( O• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
% v5 C9 l/ V4 D6 U# S8 ]4 S; q, u• Experience with children; P: ?9 G5 b+ K4 ]# C* d* @
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
! A" N$ v# k% B8 Y; o! g$ V4 \• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
3 j! N1 p# l& C• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.7 v: k! q' h8 r D7 l ?8 C6 t6 _
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources9 R) {& K& s; ^+ e! ~
• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check 0 {& i) R1 @9 S. G6 p
• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check % s5 Y5 x) R+ n7 W+ L0 E
