2 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Students 2 J5 S' B5 A8 D
(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school)9 C* b$ c7 F1 B# e

Key Responsibilities Include }- `1 f% [/ m- i( t" w
Activity Planning and Daily Activity) Z( o) F Y6 t: U* F
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.. }* t, }* g* @1 T7 u1 C7 q+ G
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. - S o; k5 e& I" J
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, 0 l& b. ^) O+ c% l0 `4 q
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
" u! W9 E g5 T• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
8 O5 p' \0 `3 p! W• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:# g% s) q1 |; z5 c
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting) J% A1 F r( f! M+ L4 K! [! p
• Experience with children
: k, y! Q; e2 j6 }( S& E( b• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth % u0 f1 S, c; y
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
- y( n( N% T& l" ?• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
! `' @/ R7 U1 W. B6 ^" w• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources9 _$ q( W% |2 x* |
• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check 3 j7 g1 z' }: l3 n
• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
