Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

- Organize focus group(s)
1 K4 X5 Y' J! k, c7 A% z- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- }8 ^# o8 e2 B; U- Provide orientation for parents
' w1 q* v; B0 t. {2 {* z- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

8 Q1 {$ x7 B. w2 ^6 f
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
  M+ J. h2 G* `$ q, H* l$ V- communication skills
% ?7 m0 i. p- `. \" i+ `- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
4 r/ P+ v7 O/ }$ P2 c9 i# i& E- leadership abilities
' d( ~* m% E' L5 J! t1 u- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
