Housing Program Worker

: y: S$ E4 x0 R' X+ GKey Responsibilities:
  Q9 v" i( D' }: q To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
; J0 H. i4 g" ^4 N5 {1 B3 { To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
& A. r5 {% W4 t, N" m, A! W- ? To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
1 m) `. g0 O- X" d" F1 H8 D To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
# y* E3 u5 @+ {, l' C+ S To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
3 l1 @" t3 q; m/ `- d* e& e To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

! T5 ]- T- G$ ~2 R% sQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
+ c% ]$ i2 ]1 Z" x Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
