Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
" o2 `2 V( }- ~- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
& {- b* z7 p4 v5 n' d- G8 r' N$ u- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
8 u! K* _4 s! P9 C- p/ E
/ t. c0 ~3 [- G- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
) J# ^! ]' j7 @7 ]$ V, P- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills

' h) t0 V: m; U1 Y- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
