The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators./ T4 }/ o8 Z" I2 V3 N4 r
, O- w1 n# `, F z& C( TThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
, y5 S5 u" r4 Y1 K• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
4 I" E" e7 `* f* X7 ]+ p" ?• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities: j, f2 g4 a/ \. j3 I! @
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
7 ^: O% b" L% ]3 W; m$ I5 y• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery
- ~0 s# F. F: B/ z" `• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program ( A- X$ {3 |/ K1 f4 O& A
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
$ }/ Z1 I% c% o$ s: i& t• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required. u9 {0 D/ h& |
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication, n" X9 G1 p4 \: e4 p
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested3 ]2 L& ]) w- [1 E
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department$ U% l- r+ U' j6 Y8 S2 _
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program1 i( g6 @, C3 w. ~& ]. j0 U; j E4 m- d
• Implement service modification, as required

• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

Qualifications:
1 _9 f/ [& D; H* X# k+ M8 p3 k4 |
9 U" @7 x" Y( s% F( K• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
+ x$ Z& ^* Q, ]$ U2 ~* a& Z• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities) O9 F& z: {( R, n$ t
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience8 P' ~' a- s1 p" C: ]% ]# Y# }
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
0 J8 Q7 |& m$ ]• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
