The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.7 p, Z/ e2 T) [

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities./ Q# t+ E5 J: ?1 d( M( Y0 H

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities / ~3 p- h' J0 p0 ], `
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 6 c. @/ S- a# b/ Z/ B# l
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
& L+ r! ^8 i( |$ Y {: o• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services: l' Z( U k/ H5 f5 P
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery
7 C$ C4 p0 Z# p4 O c* n0 q% w! a- I• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
! ]5 j& g6 {" X8 ], Q' O8 \% ~6 p4 n• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes7 D8 R7 |- E: v% g& ^' h
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
) N8 S+ n8 ]$ E- |2 I. g# j• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication4 x4 {8 K# s& B1 [$ G% t. r
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested1 y& F5 ~5 d$ p- c+ F( z
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
, o& u% J2 ~6 t5 m4 H• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program+ O( I B5 a# ?* ?
• Implement service modification, as required( r9 l" ?! w7 f) j8 i" H2 D0 w

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director# r" B4 L6 T% h- V' @1 c; \6 y
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review. h; w! v0 Y- ?" D c
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

: V3 x. r9 f& G8 a' y• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field5 a8 r6 O7 n% Q$ n* P
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
- ]! t: C* I& G* _0 l2 a: f3 I• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
# Z" k% m e' ~# Y8 D• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations3 C! i( p$ P" i1 |( J4 _
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population8 N, _7 v$ N3 E+ D0 a+ o4 w
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office5 Q+ E3 h2 I" k5 W& W
