The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.: }- \! j; R; z5 a2 X r

• Human Resources Management0 z7 S1 }/ T$ z) v, D, h
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities 4 ?/ I- u+ }$ ]
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
8 ~7 V4 w, T8 L' F! ]3 m# H• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
) a9 v: L# J' C9 M' S1 c2 _$ `. P4 Q• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
0 U6 B2 o4 O" |9 a' ?• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

* N7 D- @1 J( y: V1 P• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program . { E' ]! k6 s, X! X$ K
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes+ i" d) O4 F! L$ ^7 [
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required1 N& G g, }$ f- Z
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication

4 S) N0 _, t2 [7 N' w1 w8 q( O+ [• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department

• Implement service modification, as required, ^/ G2 m# H8 u% c. W

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director: m3 t% h4 S# C+ D3 t0 c2 a
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

6 \ r9 y% j/ h) R5 z, j. b• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field# s0 { `2 x1 X& S: w
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
8 G) r( _9 L" v• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
5 p2 ]5 U. \5 M. v2 P( r( J: U• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
) s5 `. p, H0 \& O1 s* w; V' U$ X* h• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population7 _" E0 o$ C9 r" g" L
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
