summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 8 [! [* i: B9 Z7 c0 l0 P
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as

Duties: Z( Z" O4 Q7 M2 C! D" A
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
' M4 X: F$ ~4 L G( @- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
$ Y1 g, K; ?# P! Q }- Implement a catalogue template for future use
$ q e, J& w2 J" o+ T! r4 B l7 C- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
8 x2 v1 ?) E8 R5 }0 C% W- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 6 J/ ]- u( N T6 z

- Funding for this position is provided by the Summer Temporary Employment Program

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
