CSSA Spring Trip to Jasper on May 21, 22, and 23.

CSSA will organize a Spring Trip to Jasper from May 21 to 23, 2005.
Activities include sight viewing, canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge, and

* e9 f  T' Y4 c, ?$ y: z3 VWe will go to Jasper by mini-van rented by CSSA and driven by CSSA
Volunteers.
We'll stay there for two nights. Accommodations are arranged by CSSA.

-        Ride to Jasper by mini-van.(7 people per minivan)
-        Canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge.($35 per canoe per hour and $25 per

hour)(Each canoe can hold 3 people at most.)
-        Hot spring in Jasper for the evening.(Usually hot spring costs about

person. So it's not that expensive. And after knowing how many people
will go,
( B; T) E& I, n- o( FI can work on a group price for us. So sign up for this activity. If
you are

-        Stays the night in Jasper.

-        Sight Viewing in Japer: We'll go Maligne Lake first thing in the
morning .
% P1 b% _6 U; q0 T9 pAnd we'll do the Malign Boat Cruises.(I'll take us 90 minutes round
0 a& n$ q  J$ S, m5 i% ~7 T5 {" Gtrip. It's
0 w: l, V7 t5 b7 ^9 m3 Q$35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12years old)). If you haven't done
- K, S0 X6 g$ t+ xthis
before, I strongly recommend you to do so.
-        Stays the night in Jasper and no activities in day 2's evening so
( A& q  b3 a8 [' H* Pthat you
could visit the town by yourself, or go to the bar and have a drink or
so.

-        Sight-viewing in Jasper continues.
4 ^8 M. R1 p) y-        Ride home in the early afternoon since we need to return the rented
van on

-        Swim suit if you want to do Hot Spring.
& a6 R' z; R( _- ^% [9 p* u-       Sun glasses and sun screen to protect your eyes and skin.
-       Camera. It's beautiful in the mountain in the spring.
-       Bring some warm clothes since it's still cool in the mountain
: P9 `* r. Z% M% s0 x& x) hin the
late May. And we also will go to the Columbia Ice Field so warm clothes
and
$ k1 p6 Y4 c9 l3 f+ I+ B. hshoes are definitely needed.
8 r6 g; e/ h7 l$ g; A! I-       Wear comfort shoes cause we'll do lots of walking and of course
" Q! b; k% G3 W! `- qdrving.(But you won't need to worry about the driving).

there are food at lunch or dinner hour, so you could have something to
eat.

IGA in
Jasper, so you could always buy food there if you need.)

Cost: $160, this price includes your share of car rentals, gas,

accommodation in jasper, and national park entrance tickets, and it

the hot-spring, the canoeing, and the maligne Boat Cruises).
Hot Spring ticket was about $6 in total according to last year's price.
Canoeing is $35 per canoe per hour, $25 per half an hour.

When we come back from the trip, according to the expenses we'll return

everyone will gets an expense list for this trip.
