Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

% x7 [; X. R  o# g0 OKey Responsibilities:
. H* k  M- E* P2 G1 ^ To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
! ?% f2 h- N3 q$ P To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
- \+ }" ^- }6 _) T6 F" w To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
9 A) J# ]" i- h# W To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
5 y, R8 L& Q8 a6 M Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
