-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
% k- b/ k1 B1 p% R, p        implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
0 [, `" q9 [+ y8 ~' l1 [& Z# |-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
" J4 t6 e, c8 B" r: \-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator
& a1 s- a% o2 Z% O% ]" ?: e" `
Qualifications:
; W) D) j. D) g4 X-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
% q# V5 @, ?% R7 ~        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
8 w* o) x/ |- D6 y1 X5 m8 s' d-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
( v4 ~8 r% }$ k! {: E7 z-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
! T. i  E) p2 |" m1 ^5 A-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
# W( v2 H8 s8 m, F-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
+ v/ b/ S, c. h-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
( r# _! m4 w* k: J# p( P-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
