Youth Summer Program Assistant, 2009( w8 m8 f7 ?5 _

Responsibilities:
7 q8 C" y) Y* D/ q" O8 k# }- Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
6 I* G* G! H7 _1 M, R |! ^# o/ B implementation of the Summer Camps4 [2 C4 w: n4 p. w
- Assist with facilitating the summer program, b* S- p( k; T7 `
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies5 n$ Z; C9 B: @/ V2 u
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator( f, m! A# P( j( Z2 P8 P

Qualifications: m) {# u' x# a3 _
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood - ^* B' k: {( _8 p. T
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
. o, ]' P0 ]& L! |; K- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children: Q e* S3 E7 r2 A/ U3 `
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
& L4 `7 F- j2 A3 a- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities0 L& b% y% ~" @+ r: k
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
7 u, J, M3 w3 ~' V# M' K- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
1 ^" c" e: T8 l+ \, ?- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision9 @& I8 k5 v9 {; H* n
- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) + w2 }: z. N7 Z6 X% f
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
