Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009

- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
& e8 C- ]$ ?4 D/ I. }- ] preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps& m; Q5 {& a3 Y- O- L+ A7 M
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
6 S. r+ A3 t6 R0 Z6 w' M- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
% D) `; ~' d- I# \# w- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program

- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

/ _* v' M2 w( c: E+ X" {- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
* k8 e* ^5 x9 o Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
, i0 v# ] l& M+ F8 R8 y- g( r- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children; D; N# k! H8 Y$ X& q
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
" O" q" F" v5 X" h3 d* C- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities6 E: J5 I( f* u* c* q
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
( W4 v) c: m4 p- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities) ?! V+ I+ }9 M9 T, C
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
