- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program

& b! ?& K. X) z: q1 o- U9 f- Recruit children for summer programs
# n3 T" a- p& {) J& D- Recruit volunteers for summer programs* Z2 U% z' L) I3 Y: P+ y
- Record keeping
b l O# }/ q, {% V8 k( z) C- Provide orientation for parents
+ ]. r0 D* X( L* b5 l. R! P- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
0 U$ t$ Y# z* S3 e D" L8 G- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

3 M. c# c9 Q* B( |7 |. o6 O- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education, U/ R' t* i2 {' \6 w7 q+ U0 {; e
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children5 k. g' n# n% {2 D
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
5 C" `% d% _8 ?. n$ s) `- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
" Z4 @, p! l% v0 y6 H3 G- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
0 \& S/ O0 A2 n0 j3 N- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities+ A1 B+ f: _0 r Y
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
# s0 s4 t9 W" J- Returning student (should return to school after summer)) c9 D/ n* B! m
- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
* r) S0 J; M+ C( o$ Q/ G- J- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning) 8 v* I: p8 A( I1 v# w* P
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
6 r! @! v0 a' s8 F- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
