Responsibilities:
4 C# l6 r; l8 b% M* s8 E, }-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
       (ages 6 to 15)
9 a8 c; E0 i4 L4 @2 k7 F! i-        Recruit children for summer programs
( w; t0 P) P% n: V2 M-        Recruit volunteers for summer programs
( ?1 y. H' O. Z) H-        Record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

0 ?% {# b* [6 ^* mQualifications:
% K( K  Z9 D+ B  R-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- r' [& a! X7 C-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
- a2 j: [( I+ r' w# ?-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
8 C  H# p5 ^; `" g& h-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
% _$ t3 |. _* n3 m-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)   
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
