    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
' L8 r1 Y, r) V1 q2 q+ I9 e    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
9 f2 t8 ^8 `. O, b7 P! B    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students

L0 ~( @2 f    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
5 T( h) ^0 `& \: L& j0 |本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。


* V1 ~! S" B8 j: g% _: u好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

You've never heard of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry?
3 [" I7 ]& y3 x2 {Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
