8 I" w$ b, o& Z- b9 t! \ * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications

* Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance9 m" A6 y J, B. _3 a
* Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students - }2 U" F' ]( I% }: z
* Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
