4 v) R( ~; C7 E) R$ e    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
- l- @5 w* D" Q" ?' G4 g# s    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
2 \/ Y4 L9 i/ d( M$ O    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
: k2 F0 O* v5 _- I( Y2 k( e" X    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs
    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
# B, x. v2 h  Z7 @4 Z. P本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

# h1 c$ [& |/ @4 z2 K: c好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

You've never heard of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry?
* b& U: p+ {- J5 O# z/ t. d- j2 ZSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

0 V5 c& _/ s" }  yti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
