- Organize focus group(s)
. U4 r! ^7 \/ n/ I$ s- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
. N( C7 ~: n9 B9 B- Recruit children for summer program
9 x2 R3 }5 w+ E- Provide orientation for parents
( m( [( a4 S6 D$ r- Find sponsors to enhance program
$ A6 W5 L6 y0 N  n3 g7 e# t- Supervise volunteer(s)
: j* W% ?0 X, f8 K' ]- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
0 e4 f0 J# M' N* ^) w- K
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
" Z8 |4 E3 ^1 e; J- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
: W# S  }6 w5 p3 J0 j1 b- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
4 @6 ^. {1 t( k( R) W  Z, s: h- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
* }; B6 T6 J" @6 \- a0 {- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
