+ L+ _- |+ |# B& N, T, |Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
6 _$ {& }3 k( r1 S) J# ^- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
+ D1 y/ D# h+ v- Prepare final report for funding agency

5 ]. M$ H+ V7 e, zQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
5 R) ]! C. S# l7 ]- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- O9 p. D+ I/ W( t/ {) h. ]- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
/ E* d8 N* _3 h8 S. B9 z2 T- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
