A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

• Orientation Course for Child Care Staff (Level 1), e4 A! {- ]! j& w; Z
• Standard Child Care First Aid

• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care
& R# g/ _+ R4 u7 `$ P! X• Components to improve communication skills
; e- L3 }9 R7 s• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

2 L N8 n, G8 R. ~- F• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen
+ u9 m/ e+ U3 m/ ^2 dof Canada
" M! x0 a. A4 [3 A/ T- x• have a Social Insurance Number3 g b7 x" c0 }- I' t3 `9 t
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check+ |# `/ b. j. S! Q+ i. n) ]$ l; z
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent0 ~- r- Z5 h8 I* V) ?% D% T
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

2 Q1 Q# a& {+ L5 c. W! pParticipants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course x7 Z0 P" ]9 t2 |% G
• meet the financial eligibility criteria
