+ z1 j3 v6 g" e* U& ~9 {+ {0 rAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. - P5 F% V& q* J$ ]% r, t* O- h: j) y
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
; e) G% a, x( `) HConvert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
0 `/ L, |1 k5 |, k3 J6 z$ xCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
% m7 u3 R3 H0 a8 g: HPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
# w( ]" i. l% A& b* I+ M8 E' O; }Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
* N) j1 `& E* w) c- Y; o5 y) uSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. 0 k% q0 A" s: `7 M; B) }" K0 E
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. 9 S, F& [" P1 g, V+ a
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
4 X6 J/ @5 ]" d3 MSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. 6 l1 S) j" F6 @( B. g
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. : T9 ~: S) D5 _
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset. i' i( B5 F. T' `! A
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- u& E8 P( {3 d* ?' B2 g2 C" z• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.# D6 B' c' }: y" S3 d1 w
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
