As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
5 i, s8 C- {0 K, |* S, N2 DAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:# A$ i9 R+ ~$ ]$ n+ A, e: b6 X
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
$ d$ A, S6 ]7 t ]# A9 s% H( SCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information. 8 z F) i, Q1 x6 K2 ]
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. Q9 q7 S" s. g* A0 f
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
! S& I. P% L' Q2 B, N) z1 [Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
$ o1 m4 R$ C5 V3 z7 O8 ~( uAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. , N" k! g8 V8 c) ?0 J
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. ) G( k9 P+ M8 {8 {, b
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
- d4 p8 u/ x( l1 \+ b7 u% M/ i/ nResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
8 b3 e+ I* X. _ Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
: U$ I: W( X* t8 h0 Y; {• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
. M5 e$ t, Y8 G' I7 x; [• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
: T0 @: l2 w' X; f• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
l# g* K. D( f1 A• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.; E/ n; M" p) N k6 R. U
