Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. % m2 \' g* r5 x5 ^
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
2 ? t6 O5 K+ l4 B2 _. L6 HConvert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
/ w/ w, j% a" g( s4 e0 ^! ]Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
$ x, J5 G! @4 |3 \; P) g$ E- lPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
) r0 f7 e% n, d! mAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. 2 ^9 s: ?; |0 h8 `& ]: v- y1 ~. h
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. 2 K: t4 W# M) ?7 G; A* ?1 c
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
5 y0 p. @6 R0 |/ t$ eAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
. `) r- A% G, J# ~5 b9 ySummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. & ]9 |% _: v! J( l J
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
2 F! l" o8 G0 g1 @; q7 X Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset: T4 ~" H8 B( X! h( ]* }* H
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
3 x4 O G5 L% |; m1 i• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset., d' ^3 P, h9 c% R9 u- L8 z
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework. B; Q& z( z" D% j$ C( l5 \
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.

Professional Skill Requirements
