9 F% W6 C7 O$ n, M5 _0 l/ rAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
& z! H5 ^6 R7 l5 O- `) @+ A) ?1 U9 pAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:/ }* t' ?$ q! y: W' s! T6 O
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
$ ?$ ]3 J4 k6 rCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
% @1 L8 L W+ LPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. 6 X' U# ?" Q% t2 Y5 k6 Y7 C6 G) z
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. $ Q( y3 h0 C7 d- Z
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
. P) K3 E0 K4 O* dAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
8 n+ ]) u N6 g6 U! MAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. ) ^) f' v: Q: F* v% u8 _
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. & I, R2 w' l8 o4 p
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. / S/ s. \, _5 G, K$ w5 @
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
; V! C) y& _( o- j$ Z4 {• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.: r9 ^& d4 T- q& R8 d/ E4 j& F
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset. J1 _7 W+ |3 U2 K, P) Q
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
+ C' d1 w" y& W$ O. e• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment./ r# O5 f: l( M- a% t+ ]/ a4 z7 F
