* M6 d3 H0 E' ?; P- h" v* ZHIV Edmonton is looking for a Fund Development Coordinator. This is a "hands-on" position dealing with HIV Edmonton donors, staff and volunteers on a daily basis. The primary responsibility is to develop and implement the overall fundraising strategy for HIVE.

Key Responsibilities: lead in the creation of a Fund Development Department in meeting its income targets for revenue and capital through existing/new fundraising activities; develop strategies for significant growth in income to fund new programs and projects; represent HIV Edmonton externally and to build high-level support for its work.% Q" q) u- h% _ W9 x: e+ b
- K+ G; {) s( X6 J( v7 R' HPLUS: effective coordination, delivery and logistical administration of all fundraising events; secure/confirm event logistics, sponsors, prizes, supplies, and volunteers need to run fundraising events. Specific events at this time include: Scotia Bank AIDS Walk for Life and a casino in the fall.6 w, ]* p3 o$ R! w
5 h" H- G% M) p" O- z: Y qIn addition: enhance HIV Edmonton' fund development volunteer base and improve volunteer training and support processes; maintain systems and processes for monitoring income and expenditure on a monthly basis and to generate quarterly forecasts; manage the development of all high level fundraising relationships and ensures/supports the involvement of the Executive Director, where appropriate.6 d2 {) P8 A" v% l/ _% P( ~+ u
A/ ~& U0 m1 W+ K5 u: F2 RPLUS: oversees the management and development of the donor dBase; ensure compliance with all Canada Customs Revenue Agency (CCRA) regulations, data protection regulatory requirements and to promote best practice in fund raising.
