The City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog: / {/ I F' X9 @3 o6 H0 _- `

That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw
$ n- \! }6 K' U) ^9 E; e- cThat has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw
6 O% l( `! {8 Z7 S- CThat has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act
% @- g+ Y* Z/ S( T8 i, i/ W$ f3 _6 GCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club $ [5 G: b8 ~& v* A
Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club 8 L" l2 J; k# S9 @) E
Note: The restricted dog definition does NOT include any dog that is registered, or eligible for registration, with the Canadian Kennel Club as a purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier. |
