The City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog:
4 T- H5 |1 P$ a+ v# m( z
8 T6 O# y3 |' l/ q3 B: dThat has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw % \5 j) ?; h" ~6 v
That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw
6 m" M4 c0 @! e+ dThat has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act ; _ w( K: G& n
Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club % t7 s7 S* t# O" @* f& w
Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
