The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

) i% L; [* ~1 M+ k( M+ l8 y" [/ J•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
. A  q3 f9 ^  i( m" k•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
: e# B: k+ w) \* S•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
& Y& X# _* G, d$ W7 J1 C/ ]•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
. R6 t3 O, C# |3 Y- {, K2 v3 [1 d•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
# q) v0 K0 t- ~4 J•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
) b0 c; [; \7 Y2 O•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
