The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
; S% K3 _8 N1 g6 S•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
; |0 J  A/ j' B  a, U+ C* p9 Y6 l- n•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

! j* ~( u, s/ s/ [! q' mRequirements:
; M& W  r* ]+ X3 M4 S9 x•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
0 ]0 R3 d3 d% z2 }•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
% ~; C) h( q1 a•        Degree in the area of human services;
; Z$ X! b4 ~/ K, L+ b•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
' n. }/ _$ z: E) }! X% g•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
