The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

- `- s4 W8 q  ^1 BDuties:
, e5 N, b! J  i•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
) f3 R! K) z* r: L' C& l$ O3 l•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
+ S! X/ k9 f- R+ p  C* |. c8 l•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
+ W* A( l9 ^6 j7 w, Q% |+ C, h•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
' o& Y% y6 b3 K9 d+ \/ ]1 s8 w•        Degree in the area of human services;
# g( y4 ~3 R0 \. c•        Able to travel extensively ;
& U7 B* e# z6 |$ l+ t! a6 o•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
1 o) i! S, r, I& h5 S6 Q7 w•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
& `1 D/ T& \/ k7 Q/ Y( L! j•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
