! G. I9 L' y0 e! r C" `& RStep1. If possible, stop your car in a safe and visible place. If a car
% c$ ^3 \8 R8 u) G8 V cannot be moved, turn on the hazard lights. Turn off the

Step2. Determine if anyone is injured. Do not move an injured person.

; r' C) _5 r+ jStep3. Call 911 for the police and ambulance (if needed) immediately.

driver does not own the car, get the name of the car’s owner.

8 }7 S5 e- O( h6 A: S witnesses. If you have a camera take pictures of the accident

Step6. Cooperate with the police, but do not admit guilt for the

accepting money, you may give up your right to file a claim

Step9. Write an account of what happened: time of day, weather,

skid marks and determine the point of impact. Note any damage' s- c5 }8 h( P$ O! D
already on other cars involved. If a camera is available, take ) c' \2 A3 Z3 \. ^/ \

Step10. Report the accident to your insurance agent or insurance ` F3 A9 T! g5 b3 B% A
company as soon as possible. Call a lawyer Bruce King, to discuss
