Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
' V  p: N2 j* D0 c8 f" j•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
- Q- o: J' f1 e•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
" ~' G8 D2 b- Z0 [& l•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
% ?+ F1 T9 h/ J: Q& z% M•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
* K1 a9 _) y$ t, r& {•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
  b# U* H5 u- T•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
3 |; t6 n' L* p2 e" ?1 t; O& w•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
& p9 |- [% X$ Q2 `•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

1 ]1 M0 p$ ]+ G9 O' ^•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
  D0 u, g+ R2 B7 _•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
