Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

- _7 U: o) ^( l1 H5 k3 \Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
' e, h! D; w8 j8 s$ ]  J3 m•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
0 u8 J& ~  g5 a- e& J% o6 a•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
0 \2 V5 w* {9 m/ @•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
# D3 I" Q* h& Z0 T8 [1 `( W, F•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
( T! u6 j- F, I% Y% U/ D•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
7 H% z8 ^( Z5 N$ t$ |% X•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
. v# r8 N" S; C) R/ ^•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
; p7 W, r* |! |. P! i& c) `6 z•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
