Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant7 l x; j. J- K+ s; B6 b
Location: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities:
- W* c/ S6 ^8 w. e- I Q* B' P• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.! w; n a4 g* A0 A: w( I$ ~
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.: s$ q( u/ J, E/ x4 y
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
$ K6 b5 y+ d8 w) u7 ~, w• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
9 j2 U( w& R! p, c. X• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
5 l( N" S0 e+ e2 k• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
1 _$ D* X) j5 C$ g% b( {• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.7 Z! E& R8 Q4 K: e+ `0 U4 M
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning./ `) A; J$ Q+ f5 \
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.6 [0 t0 e( f9 X+ n) J" i" R2 U
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.* P7 ~4 J+ Q/ F4 R1 b
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.6 ?/ r% c+ t8 g% d% c
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

: O: s7 \$ H. [! S: i2 P• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
, t. a9 h T9 K2 I1 `# ?• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
" ^. J! u: ~$ m% G4 A/ \0 o3 Y5 p• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. * v) X& W0 w+ a# d% B
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. , A" @0 Y% {# M) |) P' Z4 f
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential% q2 E' F, G6 D2 S5 ?4 g! E. _
• Not scared of heights z" F+ w# n7 d/ k8 n
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
