Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: ) b7 u( y7 L5 U8 H2 V9 M
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." u6 l7 b. F8 n9 N/ j, r- `% F
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.6 I2 W5 w# c# P% X' p% i( z, F X
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
+ c. Y8 H$ |; |* y• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
$ C5 }* Z' D( K, z* ^' ?; m5 j• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.- w) m# \7 W! K5 e/ u S- T
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
- P3 ` k, W' V$ Q; B S- q4 y• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
- M' j# {2 b& V; J* o2 _. `4 R$ `• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
; x. u" k2 q" l& ?8 [• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
' F8 i* D' k9 j- }- t# h• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. $ T) `0 [6 f/ J5 {* i9 f
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
* u( {0 K7 n) m. K% Y8 ~3 _+ P• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. & m! A& C4 R6 o5 t. p
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. & `/ ^: |2 D/ f, i# m: A& h! Y
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential# P1 j, W; G" Z! E
• Not scared of heights' m+ p! l2 y$ `, X) z- g& t
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
( j( }5 K% F( x3 V0 n4 Z4 L- i• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ' ?' o/ U0 n4 G& Z/ Y7 e0 [* A
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
