Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2; Q" U2 p1 t. B6 @! X6 A

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: - ~; J) v( R& q1 _% @: _1 q
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
1 J/ g' E k- u) _( {• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory., q( ~% b" i S( R
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 7 B0 A% Q, r4 i3 T& R1 C
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.% D: H. S* i6 t$ G% L" o
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.: e+ R4 V! L% n0 z: g4 U4 V8 x
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.9 }% t8 a8 V3 s
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
, o, G% v4 } p/ S5 w) S/ }• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
& x& ^7 Y6 J& r• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.. n/ l, _2 ]/ |: V+ g: |; u. Y" P
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.; F* }$ j, @# v2 }. n
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

+ y$ f! ^0 G9 b) A" {6 U* M• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. 6 n2 [+ |# C; ^
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 5 I- _: V& F+ a6 W# a4 n Y- |
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
) D: l& O6 g. i1 w• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 9 H, \% A- _+ U" g+ F
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential( `9 w* V+ C, D0 l0 f& k6 p
• Not scared of heights6 B2 \! K! \: f! t/ r
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other3 k+ u+ V& ~4 N) |1 _# M
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
