Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.7 F- z( |$ I6 k  Z# I( }$ S
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.% c- T- t2 a4 h5 u5 f5 K1 u
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  9 ]. j( x. C/ `7 k
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.2 G: b/ x. F% h, f& m/ U. G
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

! s: n6 [8 R  I/ u) |•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.( O* W% g+ U+ x1 v
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
. o8 b* C/ V$ i2 O•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
6 T6 q* r1 k2 E1 g7 J•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. # ?3 @3 w9 P/ p6 h! t! M* ]  l
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 9 o% J/ v  M, m  u) v5 n
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 1 x5 T& |8 V# W% S8 y
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 4 ^3 G+ X$ u7 F  ?
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
