Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant+ t% I* K9 |- m* N& y2 k

Reports to: National Sales Manager; F$ ^, d, U8 A. `6 t: \; L" J

Major Responsibilities: % a, y* Z: T3 p6 h" B; ?
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
; z3 A# ~$ M. h* t1 o/ C2 R• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.$ O& ^. V1 w9 r/ A, n; K' G( P
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
' j* f, h4 w4 {9 G• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
" u' Z+ ~- C5 T, Y+ N* U• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.+ H( I0 G4 j$ |0 M' d) W
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area., r: s+ Q# q3 a( d- x
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.5 C4 O/ C# M# K7 s4 L1 |: [( Q2 i
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.7 ~; ]3 M9 l. |. b" k/ ^( \' D
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.; @7 {# M' e7 E' G
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 8 [/ s! o, u" S9 a, T; @
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
# f$ s: ?$ P$ c8 W0 K• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 3 b0 z. b& k! E
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
C4 [, f D# k& k6 O# s• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ' H1 H5 n, O/ N0 {4 v
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
