Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant* \/ M5 R2 X$ T& `# j( V. H
Location:        Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: 0 s/ x$ D  W/ H
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.7 L: A6 W, v& q; c9 y/ E
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.8 {4 e1 n( U/ Z7 B5 X; i
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  , X/ A! I4 A- y- f' O
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.% E7 b; O5 @+ l7 ^0 p
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis." w- v* ^# F9 o- ?2 {
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.& V9 Y5 e- M6 q; j; n2 q. [2 A
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.! x! z& |+ @' q7 P; |
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.' t' q. ]  w; M5 h* ?, a
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
! P* ^+ Y+ R) v: [•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.2 T! A0 {  K. [; F" {& l# a+ u
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.: ^& @- Z! U7 `/ Y# U- q

! n; ]4 ?4 E1 r•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 0 `5 a- o8 d; }1 k! }0 G; \
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
3 Z$ l' J6 @" x5 t% U6 u•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. / ^- j2 |. D: ~+ a8 ~
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
$ A9 g. N2 t  F# {1 H% B/ K•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
