Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 28 [/ c& a) d( D9 B8 r2 f
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities:
! n# |6 W' C1 a5 J' d5 d% g• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
; [3 i- M& w; B$ v# U2 B• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.- v) Z6 @ |0 m; s f5 c! ?( {
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
4 m1 N3 c( U! A4 g* U• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.- d4 }. [' B; q! h
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
9 K3 b2 P( S- M7 f• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
6 f* g4 X) J6 {! l3 q: b; F" Y• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ P# x z3 M4 s9 L6 W• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.$ g# ]. j2 E# k& k
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.- u& C6 v+ v6 o& X @
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning., Q5 C! w/ u X9 C$ ^
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.4 k& m- y1 ^- h8 B% l
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
- K/ _& W' _, m# ]* P& B• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.: W) b7 E# I5 \3 a
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor. v3 o9 F, n3 q. G
( E! n; c3 ], {8 l. v' R% KQualifications:# `; a' G g l/ V) z% t
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
3 u4 F# l4 A/ i• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
, y, X( O& ], z p9 g• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
! I5 i1 n6 ~8 f4 p• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; G; ?- ?, A4 A9 T+ y+ \• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
* x- V! H& X2 s8 J% W, G) U# L/ `• Not scared of heights
, G) X/ G5 s! u- l1 B/ w2 _8 [• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.' I' O; @4 v6 V; c( ^; Y6 E- @, k
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
