Calder Seniors Drop In Society has an immediate opening for a full time Outreach Coordinator position.
2 r& l/ Z/ t3 s+ r2 D5 M8 dReporting to the Executive Director this position is responsible to provide assistance to isolated and at risk seniors; to support seniors to “age in place” in the community and to enhance the overall well-being of seniors within the membership of the Calder Seniors Drop In Centre.
$ M. J" c- u: G2 Y2 t$ d6 sQualifications:
•        Diploma/degree in Social work, Recreation/Leisure/Physical Education, Family Studies or a related discipline with training in Program Development and specialty training in gerontology.

8 t1 \4 X% I& u' v& |: K6 U' y5 V•        A minimum of   2-3 years experience in co-ordination and program delivery of seniors recreational, social and leisure programs.

•        Develop and provide programs to increase the wellness and decrease isolation of seniors in Calder Communities.

5 y2 b7 p( L2 E3 `: H: @•        Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Premium including; Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point.

•        Provide outreach services to isolated seniors living in the target area

- M: d! E9 }5 \/ x/ V* N* B" u•        Coordinate the activities, volunteers, and clients of Calder Seniors Drop In Centre and other outreach programs.

•        Strong communication (written &verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

•        Must have a vehicle for use during employment and personal cell phone at their disposal for use during employment.
