    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program2 H! q2 p/ J$ C% P$ B# ^" @. I
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities) E) U4 k7 ]& ]0 g" |
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
* z8 s" ~# |/ i3 w5 U: Y% v    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat. x8 {9 M4 p' h9 O; \
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders+ y1 V) N( b2 T
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
( A* L- a/ a7 M0 y0 y& V+ R    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
$ K, `  w: a- P8 K; C6 A    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director3 T) [, Q6 N) n, Q5 a
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning# c+ @/ l% Q, ~& M6 p0 _. e
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
- Z# a$ ]  T0 G# g8 s, O4 _    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
! j3 |( O; X' c    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results- m/ F/ ~: z5 E/ `, u
    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies, j" U0 ]3 m, @0 I

Qualifications
& N# E& r8 N7 q; m5 u' u7 R9 Y
    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred0 ]5 Z  I" M0 `$ a
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
4 R( }( N, o( K- g/ F: s    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset3 n4 i/ X4 L$ i6 m+ E5 @! m5 X, f
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
+ a! O) G7 E' w& f: K    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
& _" Q- \4 ^+ i6 B2 g) T    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
. Q. ?7 p, e5 S* s; u7 Y  l" g  A    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)  B: k" b* l  C4 u1 [
    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
