    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
3 p; V7 a) T1 m. G7 ?    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs

    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
/ C2 \; k9 V% @" \5 P, E$ _    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
1 Z+ r, E/ b5 [% i    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

Qualifications
0 W1 m2 d" R, ]
    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
/ v" C5 S- J( a/ ~0 r, f9 S    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
, I! I/ K. R  l9 x) T$ u& O    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
