Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.! @' s6 ]! X, v5 B: O3 w
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.- _) T/ o0 ~( V7 G; o
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.' i: t8 L; Q; |# y) z( d1 g" r
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.' y% m7 R( V" J, \+ A. Z% H0 ~' A
