Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.
: d. a" q- n3 f1 I8 J' }8 A8 KPolice said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
0 r% |& B7 S) i; MOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.% z/ W" A$ L( D) d: F4 a) m3 j: G
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
