Man shot to death downtown

Cops are investigating the city's latest homicide after a man was gunned down early this morning.

& H' v) n. I6 k+ X4 }  z7 wPolice rushed to 107 Avenue and 108 Street on reports shots had been fired about 4:18 a.m.

A man was found on the ground in a parking lot with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

He later died in hospital. An autopsy is scheduled for sometime this week, said cops.

Cops want anyone who can help them solve the slaying to call them at 780-423-4567, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

It's the 17th homicide in Edmonton this year.
