Position: Project Coordinator - Karibuni Project / Terms: 8 month, .6 fte position September 1, 2008 - June 30, 2008 / Location: Edmonton / Salary: $23,344 - $32,544 per year, depending on education & experience + Full benefits and pension plan after 3 months / Hrs: 21 hours per week, flexible schedule / Closing Date: August 1, 2008 / Start Date: September 1, 2008.! y. i w! g7 G, P4 m j( l# G

# a5 J$ V9 i3 G$ `Responsibilities: Coordination of Karibuni project, under the direction of the executive director. This project is centered around the existing film entitled Karibuni, a documentary of the Franco-African immigrant experience in western Canada. An English sub-titled version of the film will be ready by Sept. 1. 3 S# O7 v5 g; H. P. u
. ^6 H0 W7 n( \: ^! [Key Tasks: The coordinator will work with our professional development expert and a French-speaking consultant, to develop and deliver educational sessions in English based on the film, to appropriate groups across the country.

This will involve finding appropriate groups for presentations & making travel arrangements. During the project a user-manual for the video will be created, designed, and printed. Position will involve extensive travel across Canada.
