o Accountable for Towards A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
, y/ ?$ K, E( v9 M1 G/ ?o Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program; J: W6 y# Z n9 |
o Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
9 Q6 _% J. @/ T# y9 r* co Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program; a' K: a, A" f% H" t( j. C
o Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
6 H# k: r6 q: }' [( S' a' Xo Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising* `0 H" {; u7 U0 w% ^4 q
o Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model6 Y' P! Y# e6 S. M2 O. ]! Z. N
o Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre. G, g. M8 m3 k" Y/ @
o Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues" ?, Y# u- w: D# a
o Be open and willing to explore new ideas& w- Y, H7 _3 `4 Z) N7 M) q
o Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
# s! x: a: C1 H2 u3 Eo Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications+ j, k D6 t6 m+ ?5 n4 k
o Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
N! c4 J% M+ S1 Z5 y5 c0 ~o Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
2 ^0 H& w6 o/ Z# a+ C* Q: j3 ?o Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
) `+ P! E O( ?4 i% L/ H; h. no Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills0 \6 e$ f7 x) W! h Q
o Willingness to learn
