Position: Youth Services Coordinator
Full Time Position: (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities
o        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
o        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
/ D0 t) a, z/ e/ n. go        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
1 [+ v* g. ]$ M+ [" }: A9 \o        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
+ Q% f# f* O1 c* M* H, Ho        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
o        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
o        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
* M0 q+ K" r" v6 v5 P+ V) ^o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
o        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
o        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

* Q1 N7 v3 |; q+ a5 ~- h/ @Qualifications
o        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
o        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
o        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
o        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o        Willingness to learn

Other
o        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
