Position: Youth Services Coordinator
1 \6 n, N3 ~  |$ O. u3 mFull Time Position: (35 hours per week)

  {$ P2 M& d  v  U3 l- yResponsibilities
o        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
, ~- e4 M) ?  b1 f+ v2 U( Eo        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
) s4 E1 p" y8 L1 y4 @o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
! V7 Y- |- t# o0 Io        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
o        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
' g, u# z" U* W% no        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
/ L0 R: I8 b. n# K+ J  b0 `+ k9 co        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
1 s' e! l9 [" Yo        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
: D1 j+ _" S( E. p2 T' I2 Z$ \o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
+ l# S! r- ^/ Mo        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
6 [# {- e5 s) H1 Zo        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
6 t" l1 ?7 F: V/ g) m) xo        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
o        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
% Z8 k7 s- p+ O7 X6 g9 @6 {o        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
" [) P/ w3 J) j: l( q9 ]o        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
+ C$ Q6 @, {3 N+ B2 ho        Willingness to learn

Other
o        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
