Position: Youth Services Coordinator
Full Time Position: (35 hours per week)

. y0 {3 y; y( R7 A7 g$ o6 q) Mo        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
o        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
- D, t. C; G9 m& Z3 k" H% xo        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
o        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
6 J# `! H4 c  Y! I1 ~0 o1 K9 no        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
, H8 D( J6 C0 F* Y/ Bo        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
o        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
/ C  _6 ~- G; X3 Lo        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
7 M0 F, G* b( i7 G& ^& _3 l4 Ho        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
o        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
o        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
o        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
o        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
0 E# N- a+ \( E' j; Uo        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o        Willingness to learn
