Position: Youth Services Coordinator
3 A  x% J% T. ]* a! S; X* RFull Time Position: (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities
) I$ Z' `; c6 x% ~8 n" j9 to        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
o        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
! A* o! `; ?2 n9 \6 Ho        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
6 |0 J  X) h$ i8 o; v. G  ao        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
o        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
o        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
o        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
o        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
  ~5 T- w/ s: ~4 @% s7 q& O$ R7 @o        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
# i: ?: _, e+ O+ C3 M, Yo        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
o        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
o        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor
! h$ }' A6 L' \' V/ @6 T: J% l, Q. R
' z1 L0 c2 x2 b5 G& @/ c; {Qualifications
5 {$ S, A( N; B- A2 ko        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
- y: D5 J6 f1 n4 q: C/ d6 Qo        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
# B  e# K. _; d0 y! To        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
3 h- R% V/ j: u+ E. f7 ?8 e' Ho        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
6 `; F. B8 @- Q) v9 |; M6 l. z6 q4 Zo        Willingness to learn
4 _# S( I7 i) E. V+ K- r! g3 h1 T
Other
o        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
