When we are billed to be the next Superpower, we are a threat.6 J; c+ n/ {2 q( \% b' m6 B
/ @! H* n7 h+ F0 c% H; k: ?3 pWhen we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to our markets.
" C" N3 y" q& h4 P6 S+ Q5 w' P! ?When we embraced Free Trade, you blame us for taking away your jobs.6 M+ }, D% `: W8 Z; E$ c5 K( D9 ~
$ r. j& ]9 r+ H' a1 iWhen we were falling apart, you marched in your troops and wanted your “fair share”.0 e1 K6 F. L& `3 N% F! {+ a
When we were putting the broken pieces together again, “Free Tibet” you scream, “it was an invasion!”% ?1 b; k' i, [) H6 `

So, we tried communism, you hated us for being communists }) }) j) p- S6 C4 e4 X( J) Y
When we embraced capitalism, you hate us for being capitalists.

- Y. H) X9 p4 s4 l& d# y/ }( K& q" e1 NWhen we were poor, you thought we were dogs.
2 y9 N: {# w% a$ iWhen we loan you cash, you blame us for your debts.

When we sell you goods, you blame us for global warming.* K6 {" z7 U' ]2 c% Z

Because you only get so many chances,
