/ w. U. [9 d2 W" ?5 eWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
4 R9 v' Z5 _  M6 a7 \- wResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
! Y3 A+ b  P% V" GProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
# v) f( j9 j6 D' Q9 NWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
1 B5 I; T  Z/ }* K$ EEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
4 l/ j. r+ L  g! N) GDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
/ |2 o: Y9 N9 }9 q# f+ RQualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
% b+ P. L0 l& RExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
+ h! v6 j/ m" G/ G! f, v4 vStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
