Duties
+ V7 T! M4 v. C: ?- _  `Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
/ G- k+ k  a2 i/ W+ O/ a5 q/ X# iResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
" Y2 i- D# H7 Y- v' zResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
/ x" e7 ]- D1 X7 Z3 \Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
% m* A/ e6 F0 n- |Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
8 v: `9 S5 a$ u" J# ]- EDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
2 W% z% b0 [' H  N7 m' {# sDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
. E! }+ o* P% \% iMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
