Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
, Y* s! H' a3 GEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
  E* H4 w0 J. z& w- X! \7 N. j0 {2 Z4 ZDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
! K) M5 u5 i( q1 h- w9 d. E2 OTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
) S2 e2 C% M7 H4 M5 v2 _: uMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
