A Course for Immigrant Women

* a' T% Q' E' ?8 |1 T) F-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
; n! M2 }3 p9 z-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?
& R1 c4 ]% n5 ?+ D% T. g1 F
If the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

0 C+ j2 z7 P/ ICounseling to help you find what is right for you.
Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
2 Q# n. A  }5 |! c+ j& J  F7 hInformation about community agencies and services.
Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
- P. k9 g8 S4 j! n+ @% NContinued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
