Job Description

- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:) d X0 a& e. R! Q+ m( }% r
- post secondary diploma

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset" b0 O2 c4 a$ }+ B

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
% z% K) g3 j9 B- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
7 i2 g) g- m J- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
1 [- u, J' ^, n2 a3 z- }4 G X- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members% h( h* }5 c, D& a1 o
- update ASSIST website9 h4 }& J/ T9 G3 Q4 U: C: w
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre' X+ Y- k* y7 j5 S- w
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services' }3 \+ {6 u+ v/ j7 \& I
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
9 ]6 K; z4 x; _3 h- write quarterly and final reports for ISP' m, |7 h. b0 S5 v' d# H
- hold regular meetings with ISP team
% ^# b6 C. n. W1 M- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
, l+ j2 h+ M- g( v. G8 B- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
5 a+ H5 U% Q+ N& H' m" U% @9 x- good oral and written Chinese and English skills h! z$ c/ F! w8 \! d
- experience in community work and immigrant services
. r! y: ~5 w) M* U8 M" l- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
