Job Description
* b1 `( i- W: \0 M' ]- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
: x( N- G+ ^, z' x/ f- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker) d+ v: |2 H6 ]$ a- i* A7 R- H1 N( g
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
# \0 Q5 ^, i+ u9 Y- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services$ L* ]8 a( c$ h
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services% I& z9 Z' ]) _ n$ S: M4 T
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies. j: z8 z; b0 i& [: t+ J8 }1 f
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

# s9 K3 J$ j1 `7 L- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time$ O, ]* R. d* O5 v. e

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education , z% z3 `* h, G

- experience in community work and immigrant services
