- customer service and office clerical experiences

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
, c/ z( t; P, v8 ]5 {8 v: s- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services- n; l4 h' T0 a5 _+ w0 k+ Z. J
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services) Y& K5 n' p# ?6 D' W6 i
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies$ c' _1 X& I( Y4 z K2 i; p: Y. ?
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members- k8 e$ q+ K r: e% o
- update ASSIST website9 q- v3 N3 c' m6 g$ ]& C
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre' B% I: m6 e! \+ F) d$ U
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services [# b/ m8 g1 d% u# g
- assist in writing proposal for ISP3 A) L' F: i, {6 t0 u
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time) M& }; C) O; G; x M6 E" a
- update membership database

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education ! |& l. E$ f; C- {4 H
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
) i6 ?0 o" m3 M7 e' E9 T- experience in community work and immigrant services
