(Full time: 35 hours per week)

- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.' }& b5 N$ d* L5 ]* u
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
. g; e1 r! z7 a4 ?, @- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

- customer service and office clerical experiences

Y& y, A7 Y; U0 ]- [0 _- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services$ z. U, ~9 C; {0 b2 p; y
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
' ?0 ~$ e7 W8 D' \5 m- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
4 o2 f7 M- Z. @6 j B" X/ r' M- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members5 k6 a9 }8 C) Q6 p2 y
- update ASSIST website
% Z) Y' b, T2 J5 Y3 y* ^- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
" E& `/ @7 W8 P$ g- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services: G% m: x& f+ [+ i) X
- assist in writing proposal for ISP3 ]* b; s# k. E: Y0 n" I+ b
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP8 C- k$ s/ b$ l/ B0 Q# i3 e5 ^0 X
- hold regular meetings with ISP team: p$ _; o4 S) Z" F/ p* }. }% E! a
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)2 H0 U, @! l: J4 s, l& g( B

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education ( }: x$ [0 D7 j- R
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
