Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individual to fill the following two positions:

- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.

Qualifications:" n9 q* f. @# v' u2 W
- post secondary diploma 2 ]) g: E( [0 b, r" h: o# a
- customer service and office clerical experiences
2 C5 T1 Z4 i% F* [. ?- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community

- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services1 S+ O j4 s+ `/ u4 ?
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies" }4 ~' N# @& E8 }
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members8 P9 B3 a* i0 g: i
- update ASSIST website
' W6 A% B( @. G5 ]% m; X$ i+ {- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre$ A0 e' r& @- f2 w* N1 X( t
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services( H% Y. r9 k7 K$ w/ E
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
& D/ y0 R/ Z2 i6 \( m- write quarterly and final reports for ISP& J( O4 W* e% y% h! u
- hold regular meetings with ISP team. }+ E$ g- x0 m# N, }3 ?) R9 S
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 8 O! m8 G) ~) u/ Q
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
1 T4 g/ Q' Q1 W7 E2 P- experience in community work and immigrant services
