EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。7 S2 H/ W' F" i

/ J, G4 n% ]% O2 }' O# o; O( KThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
+ p5 l& C5 P; M: Ybecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.1 O' R3 m0 W. Y5 J! Z0 \' {* n9 `
7 `' S$ |3 m* G3 XTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials/ d8 Z* }1 C6 I( X
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
' n/ L$ P0 s/ H! i: r& Rcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
