obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
, z' j/ ^$ y0 |( C) }9 M: yrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
' ^ E" Z" b; J# S& O7 Sfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is+ E3 r" I4 m) f3 B) P5 L: b
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA- C8 k; z2 x: }: V5 d
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein: u. u4 y" z6 K, f _
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
* W6 Y6 o6 x+ l. g8 ?& Jis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with7 A5 Z) y7 C. Y$ @
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping( X1 r( ?; ^/ i7 a7 @
accurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated& `! w( k# k1 r7 d0 a
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
