ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our

strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

) T( j9 @! G3 j; C$ dQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
# X# k- U8 ?- k0 _# fobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
! F, L, n% ?. Brequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
) I1 y/ f% c, y3 j! J" ?$ Bthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
