ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
4 Q  @. K3 J' P6 |- h. Grelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
& Z- i' O$ M& e. c5 m( ]  }. ^required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
; @* d( b' {$ }2 h% G5 @7 S* lcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
: Q1 g3 O/ C0 X6 [; zis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
$ X$ e' g- G& j% O9 {the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
