烤蛋糕

• 1 cup sugar

• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)& Y Z8 ~ L: o$ e
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 4 Q' l) g! K! k5 ?( n; O/ i* a* i7 O
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. % p: e; J" g8 L8 [$ w1 I3 Z
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
