FUNCTIONS:

As the Corporate Financial Co-ordinator within the Corporate Accounting and Reporting office of the Finance Branch, you will lead the year-end reporting functions within the City as well as the operating fund corporate accounting, and guide the development of related policy, procedures, and strategies. 2 N% R/ A% l0 _; E· Coordinating the completion of the annual consolidated financial statements, the Provincial municipal information return, and other financial reporting for audit.

· Providing advice within the organization and to related Boards and Authorities on options for resolution of financial and reporting issues.+ z$ e4 x! C0 M; L4 L+ \5 J% u

· Managing a group of professional and administrative staff, in completing ongoing corporate accounting functions.

$ |' A" O' b) e+ {+ E9 Q· A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in the financial accounting and reporting field.

HOURS OF WORK:
