的是一份执着，要的是你的参与，盼望的是你的捧场。

First call for actors -- CSSA Evening Party for 2008 Chinese New Year

( `& }% f4 I% \1 l' {1 mThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University4 Q0 @" G7 c" e- T
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
: C4 _' E& `2 W8 ~. w eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
* m* ?9 Y ~; j: @ cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
" }7 X/ f( x$ ~8 i6 ] customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
; a. z4 |" N% R this broad land.

: Z& q/ Q! K9 S9 B2 }% O# fWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to4 |/ D2 C3 v: s' c7 a
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and% h d L8 t4 ^
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
) z8 r* z7 ?) p, ^. U performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show7 Q0 g( X, \! _
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in5 t- H- G$ k I, r
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
# ^+ m( V2 U# s M: S# N' L& x# ^ lot of fun, like what we did before.4 [3 H. ]0 E7 H+ U* h- m# y
" _4 N: g% ^. W- ~As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs( z T5 O; B0 U
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
9 l$ r; w6 G* E# \" R0 M stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any3 S# \% M5 W6 U6 Z
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
. Y# \/ n' b% e7 L* ]. N% f9 g program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up7 s8 ~ U$ i- k- R- H! l
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since8 P0 l2 ?( o% p. E3 m
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.7 f: z/ Z" T U$ U1 j- o9 g( H. g

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also3 x" L5 D' W" t5 y2 k
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
