的是一份执着，要的是你的参与，盼望的是你的捧场。

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
: ^; I1 n* ^* o) a, ` of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the6 M3 T- u+ z: g B+ A |
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese, ~# P/ u9 _+ O8 g7 e5 o
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and, G: c) U1 C- x9 E" R- s; |- n
customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
! `" ]. |0 t4 t2 n8 ~ this broad land.. Q" w1 u( \' J$ p5 a
# _' v$ a! A; @0 D+ w* i
We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
- U' O, p4 G2 b5 _5 J2 x0 \3 R% u contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
" F$ D& g9 h' m6 R2 r& w# ~7 z& V talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in; k) f9 X* B3 n5 {6 O: \
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
4 G1 v9 O5 p1 I/ z, i1 w/ \( { ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in9 h! D0 g* x9 P% T% {/ \( k& O
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
+ U" U" z9 ?8 S lot of fun, like what we did before.9 L+ u; Y) R$ c# C+ M+ ^
1 X3 `4 Q2 ?: r- c$ lAs far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs! K* D* Y& I* f4 [
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),2 `- M/ l l) \
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
9 ^4 T6 n' y* Y# h- H performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
' ?9 Y% s; _ Z6 \2 n% B program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up! q) O1 x) I' m- N$ V* K7 \. E+ r6 G2 V
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
3 x; ?0 V i+ C+ `3 \& m, S. K CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.. m# S- ] A: }7 d' |; T6 k% ^
! R/ W; d }+ T% ?9 ]( wMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
1 F0 j3 s$ g. ?6 ~% ?6 ] on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
; `0 c( V, v& y t+ D& c control.
