愁都与我们无关，舞姿歌声都发自我们心底。不需要专业的培训，也没有华丽
& y# G2 Q0 z, i; p, ~0 [ 的装饰，却可以尽情秀出自己的风采、个性、特点。我们靠的是一份热情，凭
5 r8 W; j4 C5 @! o 的是一份执着，要的是你的参与，盼望的是你的捧场。

节目的内容不限，可以是独唱、合唱、舞蹈、相声、小品、话剧，或是一些才, p5 Z+ _- d9 r) x

: Z3 u1 I# E# Z- A First call for actors -- CSSA Evening Party for 2008 Chinese New Year

K5 y( W% E! ]0 vThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
8 D7 ^9 {& m+ r$ Z of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
' f; Q- V8 @$ O4 h eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
1 y) b; h3 k' Q; }4 W7 z# P2 U cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
: H, q: W! @+ ]. I5 K. S; y customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
9 A. \: v9 N' K, j$ v5 q this broad land.2 C2 n" J! p7 j N& d* j
8 {8 u! P! F! j& E1 F4 IWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to$ V! n& V8 v, m, W1 }, I
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and8 G4 M; Z3 I7 i- |2 n* L7 U" @
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in1 V- K# X( F- S) u7 p+ R6 s
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
6 J2 Q2 m' d2 m3 R8 C ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
5 O/ @2 h+ s9 a1 i( Z, w' i Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a6 V5 o; X! e# E$ A9 g6 }
lot of fun, like what we did before.

1 S; K7 @- z+ a; t+ oAs far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
$ c, { S1 r* ~& x& l" K3 H sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),9 q8 H/ { }- a$ k' s/ W& i, J$ t
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any5 d' u+ h3 { o
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your2 f' ~' a5 m4 ^ X8 v
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up0 u% }# i" k. [
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since: A/ x9 [9 H, _2 m5 l4 N. g G7 H
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

4 g. m6 o& a2 {& o1 g/ YMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
4 r; h. p- N' d/ [ on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
