Programs/Services

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends! k. d! O; ]; T, H" x* _

• maintenance of appropriate reporting

• build on knowledge of community resources in program development

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities: X" i! f A+ p M
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders4 I! d H1 L r) u. j" _
• communicate the value of the organization to the public
1 f# i# d. U: p0 m! \) P• identify community needs and trends
L8 v$ O9 w% H• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups7 q+ P. `( m6 f5 y0 }- d; b# t
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
1 H, A5 A) G7 r# x4 Z, F9 q• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

- University degree in a related field; * V# s" U# }% _9 o: S! M
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
+ W6 L/ M6 Y1 f1 R/ b- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
! N1 |/ E5 |0 X9 g, p* N- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 4 y5 Z$ ^3 j. b5 p( x

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits 5 O* t: o& |* \5 T; X+ v$ k( i2 Y
