• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

• identify community and user needs and trends

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
$ {1 e @. C$ C6 u$ U) R• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

; I1 R6 M7 I, H4 `' S3 ]. d• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
- x; z9 Q0 c, Z& I+ c• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
+ j- |6 w4 |' p8 B• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems./ _7 U- o3 W! a, C
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff; B: Q, O4 y3 l* f8 g

- University degree in a related field; 0 A. J. f- f( S! Z! {0 M- X8 ?7 v
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
) d8 C% h" }& h5 j" k+ k1 i, G- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; 1 B6 [( M2 y3 v! J0 C" ]. }
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
; i5 M. f, b6 w$ v% s$ d- P. H* Y6 B H2 _$ K6 J1 b# R; P1 m
Salary
1 v2 V% f) B: i# o2 a- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
