• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

• meet with staff on regular basis

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities
4 e2 B0 s0 ?0 W+ |% u. K: E( \• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• conduct program evaluation/survey/research

. Z. U# F. B3 s• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• communicate the value of the organization to the public
4 u' B, J3 F4 N; j• identify community needs and trends
# B0 B8 m C' b3 u5 J• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
8 w. P6 \( H5 H1 Z5 a4 C• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
: n. b8 T! v( z. }0 C. `3 n* |% j• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

8 k) o' ~1 l1 _& g1 lQualifications
) U, X' r% Y/ t; p5 S; O5 G- University degree in a related field;
: I7 O/ T5 w2 F% D. J- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
D! s. g" u2 M6 l- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; * J$ j, J. \; u
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization & E% W0 W7 T5 W9 x1 \8 N0 `

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
