• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

: t1 l/ c% h. v- G/ F/ n- o• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends, O8 O! z- Q5 v& Y' v+ c
• conduct program evaluation/survey/research

• delivery of program or activity to participants as required

• ensure programs serve to enhance the coping capacities and well-being of people by removing inhumane systems or barriers and to empower people to work on positive changes in themselves and in others

External Relations

• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders9 R' r8 [0 \& L0 i# j( [
• communicate the value of the organization to the public
+ c; o) R+ [2 ], D' D! ?) O R• identify community needs and trends: R% K4 ]9 f6 ~2 ]
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
6 ~8 S' z p4 o- j: V• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
- l' z1 R" z9 G+ k, T# f5 J) ~) R• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

- University degree in a related field;
+ p" }0 v5 ]% S5 `- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
2 q2 F) W! c [4 b2 d- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
: R2 @9 `5 B/ P% ?0 V- t: V3 @" `9 W- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization " `1 ~- l7 x8 Y# u/ \

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits & D/ z6 Q; G2 }/ i, _# Y
