• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities

• set program priorities and directions ) \/ i( O3 I: R# s) C8 [) b
• identify community and user needs and trends: _. k" l4 L; h8 P' ~5 e+ M) _/ j- {
• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends3 E, \# j- X8 D* b& O6 D

• maintenance of appropriate reporting

External Relations
) s' H2 y& u' [* y- w• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
) c+ W# W$ t: P• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
( _9 u$ z3 x! |. o; T• communicate the value of the organization to the public$ O; C9 O, u: H( P/ s* D9 z3 b
• identify community needs and trends' J" i/ [0 Z; [. \7 B6 k
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
: k& B/ U0 d, J4 y9 Q• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups9 _( a, O' t, B8 Z; ~
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.8 ?9 U7 E5 v! k$ A% I' [3 b
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff$ _5 w. F- S0 ^: o! q

Qualifications0 q( K |/ R# t# E. @5 F
- University degree in a related field;
4 Z8 a8 J6 R# P) V2 H- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;3 D, H, X' F1 l# x
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
" n6 a% x" N. i" w x) {- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 6 m/ F. [7 [7 h [9 x% k1 L

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits , d- v, `! j E( h
