JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

+ ?# y6 `- _, k) O# T DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

: X6 ?0 _  [1 o3 Z' M( A" J3 {2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

7 Y4 u: D/ \0 \) b$ G2 N4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.
! Y0 U2 {1 F+ U8 }" i! j& [; `! n
+ m1 k1 E: E* ~5) Serve as cashier when required.

& j- j2 x! m# G8 }5 Y2 y( h, Z6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

. }6 U" r9 C* S. a' |  H1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
! Q0 t# I2 p/ d
2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
* x4 }/ D7 C' i" K
- _: z: k+ S7 j1 h2 k$ c  l4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.
% F7 s. ]! _+ ^6 c  O! l
5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
