Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

* B3 O/ H) k. q) l% ^2 Y& Y% j0 DMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

' P4 K6 g  l% O0 K3 p1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?

# O0 o( `0 h$ d# }2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?
