and most of the newly admitted students who applied for housing were / i. o8 i" d- I$ K

While the average cost of living for a typical graduate student has 4 ]- R, o. n4 Z1 m6 a5 o

exactly for the same amount of money that we were offered in our - w/ g) G2 c! L( S8 s
admission letter (18000 CAD + 1500 CAD for international students 4 A3 ?$ Y5 q4 ~) [0 P: V3 D: U
=19500CAD. What I get is something around 1000CAD/month!!! after

imagine that a new student gets the same amount of money that I am

from different governmental and non governmental sources and graduate 0 U# w/ H. ?! s% ~8 \2 ?- Q! X
students are the main pillars of research work at the university.

is to question the adequacy of financial aid for graduate and
" S& g7 S+ j- ?3 v5 iespecially international students. Isn抰 it time for the GSA to take0 [, P0 n! ?: o
* @. h, g. ]5 r5 x. s) S/ M( `
initiative in raising the issue of increasing financial aid for
' J7 |1 `1 G2 X/ \graduate students so that the can afford this increase in costs?
