SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
# Q9 W. x, r. w# L+ FSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects E6 o. c( j5 h/ w. p, t2 l
of Course Pack production.; @! }" |/ _7 E: R+ S1 U3 t/ y0 J

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:) c- m0 o Z' `; u9 Q$ C
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning ) R- S& y9 d6 W' i
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.8 k, L" j' q. ^3 n% ]$ i
: U; h9 g- m' Z
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 3 x. b- \' q$ W! Z& B
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
+ W! z! N# c7 s# U* @5 ^4 z6 ~, g# m6 K2 A$ _
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of ( z/ F& ~' y8 _" d
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and
, t8 R$ Z2 s; Z: L! L( ]2 }keeping appropriate and accurate records.

5 m9 F& E$ o+ v4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment $ S0 D1 V1 e. }
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, + u7 m+ `! [" c: R
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.* O K5 g f; a0 b

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.* z3 f! K+ ?' y
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication 8 J [( ?0 C3 @. W1 s H
skills.5 p1 e; \$ e" K6 p4 b# |# ^
' q% A1 Z4 B {: j3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.% ~' E" k$ M8 e& x
% |; U2 C) Z( ^' T4 i4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.9 u$ l3 q* |: H3 e* _ o0 C

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.
