JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- 4 V y9 o. t( ^8 r
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical & u* z$ W7 a- D
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 2 G# s$ _ f/ I$ E
of Course Pack production.

6 \+ }- u. M7 }8 }DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2 t3 W" j9 ? a- d; J5 g. Q0 |2 h; ~1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning - I# w4 Y$ H" f& |& E; m
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
( Y2 t6 B% Y4 z Q; M) J1 v8 h. I( J! e4 G% _. N
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 6 }$ A9 ~( |8 h' `+ i7 }0 F# |
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

3 N5 U7 o% B( R3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
D$ y0 \$ \+ b+ icourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and L% z6 @0 K+ X& D, I* v
keeping appropriate and accurate records.1 c7 Z! P* H. w: k

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment * u- r5 \. x8 M- \0 M; i. [7 {
failures to the Operations Manager.

( q% D7 M$ G/ h5 ?5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, & W; _ }& H1 Y9 ], o' N1 T7 Y* `

* a/ ?' S2 R, v% _( H) x7 ~3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
