2 K6 h# X; h8 i GNow I think I get it clear: To change name before applying citizenship, we need to go through Registry (pay 250CAN, waiting for 6-8 )first, and submit the Name Changing Certificate to CIC for citizenship. (Passport and PR card can not be changed. )2 P" C- e; z: D5 f0 T
* g& Y7 e, D( B7 a3 Z$ rSome may have different experience with whether Name Changing Certificate is needed for citizenship. I guess that may depend on the processing officer at CIC. One may be generous or careless, so it also works without that certificate.2 Y8 \- [, M7 z! b' @% n
