You are wrong. If she/he is nice, she/he may talk about it with you before she/he talks to your school. The bottom line is it is not her job to inform you all the DETAILS beforehand. she or he may just simply say You need to improve your English writing; but in the report, she/he may say that you are not able to write an official case history for a patient. If your supervisor did this, she/he is very bad; but you cannot blame her for not telling you in advance.' h# F- ~" t) x8 i

I always give her positive feedback; however, I'll point out some places she needs to improve in the report to her school and I'll tell her when she finishes her practicum with me (Remember, I don't need to tell her.) I've seen some students from China failed their final practicum due to language barriers, especially in some areas requiring high level English e.g. SLP.

5 n" q- k# U! u4 L+ }' G/ oYears ago, I did my first practicum in a clinic, and my superivosr also recommened me to improve my verbal and writing english. It's not a bad thing, in my opnion.

我特别欣赏你的观点,很多时候我们做学生的只在学生的位置上看问题,遇到问题以后我们总是先觉得自己特别怨望。尽管故事的主角不是我,但是这一类的事情在第二语言的学生人群中发生,尤其是有很大英语障碍的人。在护理学里有一个概念我觉得特别重要“CULTURE COMPETENCY”,这点不仅仅是让当地学生懂得其他的文化或是有其他文化的意识,其实也是对其他文化的学生一个机会了解加拿大和其他国家文化的机会。$ w& @. O( r: [' g/ w
这个故事里交流也很重要,显然小猫对自己的实习老师不是很了解,因为怕,紧张不敢和老师多多交流,老师也因为工作忙等关系没能和小猫适当的交流。学校起的主要就是起了一个桥梁的作用,让实习老师和学生能在一个平台上交流。也许故事没能写出我想表达的意思,也许大家更觉得小猫可怜。
