JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- ! k2 E |# g, `# I: `2 G8 e
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical " }' q% [+ l3 l
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 2 ~5 `: y- X' p4 V9 i
of Course Pack production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
( b# G3 [6 }, z2 O3 [0 T4 A1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning . K/ Z" p. H k2 v' m- Z
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing./ ?2 u! O5 z9 |- ~" X: V7 E/ U6 z

2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
! K" w# N# c. T9 j9 Lprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
' r! d; y9 r5 p7 ?) e! K( B$ J& i$ A: n- o2 O4 U4 n
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of ) U$ j; L# S3 p) X3 h, C, L3 Z- Z
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and $ e) S; q% o4 V; s6 W G+ }( M
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

; R' [* q& R& U7 |2 U" L4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment " }7 u$ F! L( I9 G, s% Y
failures to the Operations Manager., D# r! P7 w" Q8 n
- W) e6 P* k$ S; m) W1 o0 I5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 0 u: I" J" m) M
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

$ a! N* H$ @' n$ H/ B! U' P1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.: V2 m* v" W* b
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication ' g9 y- A$ D& V8 g
skills.

" `7 D$ ]% p5 y' L3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.5 w) `7 a0 k- P( h( S+ ]- b: S

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.' K' w: i( I' g/ N; M+ p
( H( e6 ^1 C. v2 |5) Ability to work in high stress environment.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
